Welcome to my Blog about racing my first generation camaro in SCCA Autocross Solo II competition!

When I decided to autocross my first generation (1968) Camaro in SCCA Solo II competition, I naturally went to the web to find out how to set up my car, what others were doing, and generally what was required to prepare my first generation Camaro up to be successful in autocrossing competition.  Unfortunately, I found very little specific information that was useful for first generation f-bodies in SCCA competition today, so I had to figure quite a bit out on my own and piece it together from the few sites and primary sources that I did find helpful.  I’m a complete beginner to organized motorsports, so I decided to document my plans and how I set up the car and the results in a blog.  You have to start a story somewhere, so I decided to start with the search for the right car…
